L'aspetto più importante che emerge dall'intervista, e su cui sono concordi tutti protagonisti di Fringe, è come si evolveranno i personaggi e le dinamiche tra di loro in assenza della figura di Peter, tema su cui presumibilmente si svilupperà, almeno all'inizio, questa Season 4.
In a Sky Tv interview, during the just past Comic-Con 2011, John Noble has revealed that in Fringe Season 4, the disappearance of Peter will impact on the mental health of Walter.
Noble explained: "Walter came out of that [psychiatric] hospital three seasons ago, and he was... pretty insane. [But if] he didn't have Peter to help him, he'd still be insane, so initially I think we'll see that."
He continued: "[Walter will] still work for Olivia and he'll still be brilliant, but he doesn't have that lovely softening element of a family."
The point of the interview, on which all actors are in line, is how will change the dynamics between the characters without Peter, maybe the subject which will be developed in this Season 4.
